(perhaps I should elaborate) I don’t have a job and therefore haven’t had said beer on a regular basis in a while (last year I went to the pub almost every tuesday night) and tonight I said I would only get one pint… three pints later I am home and Danny is saying he wants a puppy and I’m saying I want a kitten more than a puppy and then correcting myself and saying that I would prefer a puppy to a kitten but a cat to a dog. Of course I have only had barn cats and a Dog who I was afraid of when I and it were young and then when it got older it started to bite people so I became even more afraid of it. So I don’t know how well I can actually make that judgment. In conclusion I need a job so I can do this more often. You are all wonderful people. (thanks for reading this)
I don’t think I was as drunk as you think I was. I actually do want a puppy, but now is neither the time nor the place.
It’s just that I don’t often express my love for them. This video is close to my feelings. Please watch.
I was invited out to the bar tonight by a friend (well, we’re friendly, but i wouldn’t say we’re that close) and he mentioned something about getting connected to other people. i thought this was interesting and so i went. but as i got there, i realized that i’m not really looking for a large group of friends. i could really care less, actually. i enjoy just a small group of close-knit people whom i love. plus i never do well with meeting new people unless their social-confidence level is lower than mine (of which mine is very low).
so in conclusion, i consider this group of people i have met on tumblr my friends and i sincerely wish i could meet you all. you seem like a great group and i would be proud to call any of you my friends. but sadly, there’s much distance between us, so that will just have to wait for another time, another place, and maybe another life.
PS: I love puppies.

A man driving down a busy road in the pouring rain (IN CANADA IN DECEMBER) on a Segway.
My first reaction was, “Poor guy,” but having looked into it I know roughly how much he spent on that little piece of tomfoolery so my reaction went closer to, “Sucker” but more like “FAIL!”
Segways are good for: huge cities, where a car can be an inconvenience. California, where the year-round temperature is nice, and people are eccentric anyway.
Segways are not good for: sprawled out cities like St. Catharines, or anywhere in Canada in December.
I see that guy all the time downtown. I’m pretty sure he lives there. It’s probably cheaper than a car anyway.
